KDDVM: Knowledge Discovery in Databases Virtual Mart

Knowledge Discovery in Databases Virtual Mart (KDDVM) is a support system for the design and management of KDD process: an open, collaborative and distributed support environment where KDD services can be easily annotated, introduced, accessed, described, composed and activated. KDD is a highly complex process where a lot of data manipulation tools with different characteristics have to be used together to reach the goal of previously unknown, potentially useful information extraction. The design of a KDD process implies searching for the suitable tools, understanding their scope and proper use, their composition and so on: KDDVM supports all these activities giving the users a set of basic tools and an effective environment for their usage.
